RentPayor
Terms of Use
Effective date: July 30, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the RentPayor mobile application, website, and related services.
Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using RentPayor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What RentPayor provides
RentPayor provides landlord tools for organizing properties, units, tenants, and leases; generating rent invoices; recording payments received outside RentPayor; calculating balances and arrears; maintaining expense and summary records; and generating payment receipts.
RentPayor does not collect rent
RentPayor does not receive, hold, transfer, settle, or guarantee tenants' rent. A payment record or receipt reflects information entered by the landlord about a payment received through another method. Users remain responsible for independently verifying payments and resolving disputes.
Accuracy of records
You are responsible for the accuracy of tenants, leases, invoice terms, payment amounts, dates, references, expenses, and other information entered into RentPayor. Generated balances, arrears, summaries, credits, and receipts depend on those records.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for protecting account access and for activity performed through your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and billing
Some account capacities require auto-renewable subscriptions offered through Apple or Google. Available products, prices, currencies, taxes, renewal terms, and refund rules are presented by the applicable store. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your store account, subject to the store's rules.
Receipts and records
RentPayor receipts confirm that a payment was recorded in the app and show how the recorded amount was allocated to an invoice. They are not a statement that RentPayor processed, verified, or guaranteed the underlying transfer.
Permitted use
You may use RentPayor only for lawful rental recordkeeping. You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it to create deceptive or fraudulent records.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep RentPayor reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Features, limits, integrations, and supported platforms may change as the product develops.
No professional advice
RentPayor provides recordkeeping and summary tools. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, property-management, debt-collection, or financial advice.
Termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the service is being abused, or continued access creates legal, operational, or security risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentPayor is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by inaccurate user-entered records or external payment disputes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date will be revised when an updated version is published.
